Far away in the night sky, among millions of twinkling lights, lived a tiny star named Luma. Unlike the other stars, Luma’s glow was faint. Every evening, while the bigger stars shined brightly, Luma hid behind passing clouds, too shy to sparkle.
“I’m too small,” Luma whispered to herself. “No one will notice me.”
One night, a little girl named Mira sat by her window, feeling lonely. She whispered into the sky, “I wish there was a star who could hear me.”
Luma heard her. Though nervous, she gathered all her courage and let out a tiny sparkle. Mira’s eyes lit up. “Oh! A star just for me!” she exclaimed with joy.
From that day, whenever Mira felt sad, Luma shined just a little brighter to cheer her up. Slowly, Luma realized that even the smallest light could brighten someone’s world.
Soon, other children noticed Luma’s twinkle, and she became the star everyone loved to look for at night. Luma finally understood: you don’t have to be the biggest to be special — you just need to shine in your own way.
Moral of the Story
Believe in yourself. Even the smallest light can make a big difference in someone’s life.
