Sophie Turner decides to stop following Priyanka Chopra as her divorce from Joe Jonas continues

In recent developments, Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra, who were once known as the "J Sisters" due to their close relationship, have unfollowed each other on Instagram, leaving fans puzzled. Their bond was evident as they served as bridesmaids at each other's weddings and co-starred in the Jonas Brothers' "Sucker" music video. Despite the public dissolution of Turner's marriage with Joe Jonas, her ex-brothers-in-law Nick and Kevin Jonas remain in her Instagram follow list. The mystery surrounding their Instagram actions has fueled speculation about a potential fallout between Turner and Chopra.

"Sophie Turner seems resolute in her desire for a fresh start, and it goes beyond her marital separation. The "Game of Thrones" actress has been in the public eye as she deals with her divorce from Joe Jonas, a singer, and she has recently unfollowed Priyanka Chopra, who is set to become her former sister-in-law, on Instagram. In return, the "Quantico" star, who wed Nick Jonas in 2018, has also chosen to stop following Turner. The sequence of these unfollowing actions and the reasons behind them remain unclear."

The way they've distanced themselves online has left fans on both sides feeling perplexed, especially considering how the self-proclaimed "J Sisters" had previously appeared as close as real siblings.

Turner, who still maintains her Instagram follows with Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas, had previously spoken highly of Chopra. In 2020, she expressed her admiration, saying, "It's also wonderful to have close friends who are essentially like built-in sisters, and we genuinely enjoy each other's company and have heartfelt conversations about how crazy the boys' lives can be. We can relate on so many levels, and it's truly a blessing."

They both fulfilled the roles of bridesmaids in each other's weddings and were often seen together during significant events, like when the Jonas Brothers were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Their camaraderie extended to co-starring in the group's "Sucker" music video in 2019. In that same year, Nick Jonas expressed to Entertainment Tonight that it was like a dream come true that Chopra, Turner, and Danielle Jonas, Kevin Jonas' wife, were all as close to him as his own brothers.

Chopra also publicly extended her congratulations to Turner when the British actress received an Emmy nomination for her role in "Game of Thrones."

In an Instagram Story, Chopra shared her joy, saying, "Congratulations to all of this year's Emmy nominees, but a special shoutout to you, Sophie," along with photos of both actors. She added, "We love you and are incredibly proud of you #JSisters."

Joe Jonas initiated divorce proceedings in September, ending their four-year marriage. Interestingly, Turner learned about the divorce filing through social media. Subsequently, the two reached an agreement concerning the custody of their two daughters after Turner took legal action in September.

It remains to be seen whether fans will ever receive any clarifications regarding a potential rift between Turner and Chopra.
