After a short boat ride from the capital city of Malé, I arrived at the South Ari Atoll, renowned for its rich biodiversity. With my scuba gear in tow, I descended into the deep blue, surrounded by a panorama of corals in every imaginable shape and color.
My first dive took me to a renowned site called "Maaya Thila." As I descended, I was greeted by curious reef sharks and graceful sea turtles. The coral formations resembled an underwater city, teeming with life. My dive buddy and I glided through tunnels and overhangs, feeling like underwater explorers.
One of the most thrilling moments was encountering a massive school of barracuda. They moved with synchronized precision, and it felt as if I was in the middle of a bustling metropolis of fish.
